Election Party Time

Having exhausted all avenues for which they could possibly exploit these so called 'terror charges', it appears as though the prime minister has finally stepped in with an even more ludicrous excuse.
'Prime Minister John Howard says there is no need for a judicial inquiry into the Mohamed Haneef case following a ruling by the High Court which upheld the new anti-terrorism laws.'
Because it is constitutionally valid, it is therefore valid to incarcerate a man without any reason and to then deport him on the basis of evidence that cannot be discussed, that most likely does not exist and is all part of the government's brilliant little scheme. Period. End of discussion.
and what does 'constitutionally valid' even mean anyway? The constitution says that all is fine and dandy so I guess it must be legitimate then.
Like when the Nazis had complete totalitarian control and they merely said everything is valid so long as this thing is run by us and our 'constitution', does it still make it valid? This sort of treatment of humans, imprisonment without good reason or for the sake of punitive authority is akin to some of the more sinister human rights abuses in history.
All this hoopla surrounding terrorism in Australia is nonsense and has been conveniently timed for pre-election hysteria. Whisk the voters into a frenzied panic, let them think you're doing something about this very 'valid threat that is yet to ever rear its ugly head on our shores' and you'll get voted in for another round of deception and fraud. Not to mention falling deeper and deeper into the quagmire that is the Iraq war.
It's time to go....John Howard!!!!
